Are you a strategic, critical thinker that strives in a fast-paced environment? As a financial analyst, you will support the Finance and business leadership teams by providing stakeholders with better visibility into performance drivers, supporting decision making, and helping drive process efficiencies while driving core FP&A rhythms (reporting, planning, analysis, etc.). In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes. What you’ll do: Ensure that business stakeholders have access to timely, relevant, and accurate financial and operational reporting for their businesses by working closely with the teams within Finance and Data & Technology Provide insights and business intelligence to stakeholders, within and outside of Finance, through high quality and fact-based financial and operational analyses Bring business meaning to financial data, identifying variances & trends and delivering clear, actionable insights Partner with business stakeholders to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, and align on financial outlooks Support core finance cycles, including monthly forecasting, semi-annual business cases, annual budgeting and long-range planning Contribute to overall Finance team objectives by supporting ad-hoc analyses and projects as required What we're looking for: 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, financial planning, or financial analysis. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights. Proven ability to navigate large and complex data sets, extract meaningful information, and create clear financial reports and presentations. Advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA) and hands-on experience with Power BI. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for non-finance audiences. Highly organized and self-motivated, able to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively within a team.
