Some of the duties and responsibilities include maintaining common areas, and washrooms, mopping, sweeping, and wiping down the glass and other surfaces DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Clean offices, auditoriums, classrooms, washrooms, kitchen, dining areas, halls, entrances/exits, reception areas and more • Ensure proper sanitation & disinfection procedures are followed • Replenish supplies as needed • Ensure garbage disposal in proper bins • Clean all dry & wet spills throughout the facility as required • Maintain & secure storage areas, cleaning equipment & materials in an orderly manner • Report equipment repairs and stock shortages • Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs • Other duties as assigned SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • Ability to use auto scrubbers, burnishers, carpet cleaning equipment, & tucker pole • Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures, chemicals, products, and equipment • Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System • Ability to read & understand labels & instructions • Previous custodial experience as an asset • Acceptable security and criminal record check. Requirements

Candidates must be able to pass a Canadian background check and possess knowledge of standard cleaning procedures and chemicals. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and familiarity with WHMIS are considered assets.
