The consultant will manage IMS system migrations, installations, and configurations. This includes converting definitions from DELTA to IBM MODBLKS and analyzing logic for ETO exits.

Strong expertise in IMS Transaction Manager (IMS TM) Knowledge of IBM ETO (Extended Terminal Option) / ETO Support Knowledge of BMC DELTA VT and existing DELTA-managed environments Experience converting Program, Transaction, and Resource definitions from DELTA to IBM MODBLKS Knowledge of Assembler to analyze and convert logic from existing IMS exits to ETO exits Experience with IMS Operations Manager (OM), Structured Call Interface (SCI), and Resource Manager (RM) IMS system migration, installation, and configuration experience SMP/E software maintenance and product upgrade experience Ability to perform migration planning, testing, cutover, and post-migration stabilization
