Job Title: Web Specialist (Intermediate) — WordPress Employment Type: Contract Duration: July 2027 Location: Toronto Ideal Rate: $55- $60 (Based on Experience) ONSITE- 5 days Must Have 4+ years of experience in enterprise website design, development, testing, and implementation Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and a JS framework (React, Angular, Vue, or Node.js) Experience with open-source platforms: WordPress, Drupal, Git, Apache, Linux Experience with accessibility testing and WCAG 2.1 AA (or higher) standards Experience designing multilingual, multi-audience websites Nice to Have Azure Web Services experience (WordPress as a Service, DBaaS) RBAC implementation in Azure (Entra ID, Easy Auth) Familiarity with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or InVision Knowledge of AODA and Ontario government web standards Experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted coding tools Azure DevOps / Agile project experience Note: AI-enabled tools may be used to sort applications based on job-related criteria.
