Le technicien en mise en œuvre est responsable de l'installation, de la configuration et du support des infrastructures réseau et du matériel de communication dans des environnements commerciaux et de vente au détail. Ce rôle garantit que l'ensemble du câblage et des systèmes sont correctement déployés, testés et pleinement opérationnels, conformément au périmètre du projet, aux délais et aux normes de qualité. Responsabilités principales Réaliser l'installation de l'infrastructure réseau, y compris le câblage structuré (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fibre optique, coaxial) et les équipements associés Installer et configurer les équipements réseau et périphériques (commutateurs, routeurs, serveurs, systèmes de point de vente, points d'accès sans fil, imprimantes et dispositifs de sécurité) Effectuer le cheminement, le tirage, le rangement, le raccordement et les interconnexions des câbles, conformément aux normes de l'industrie Installer les supports de câbles, les chemins de câbles et les systèmes de cheminement selon les besoins Tester l'ensemble du câblage et du matériel installés afin de garantir leurs performances et leur conformité aux spécifications, et validez la fonctionnalité du système, y compris la connectivité, les performances et l'intégration à l'infrastructure existante Diagnostiquer et résoudre les problèmes liés au câblage, au matériel et au réseau sur le terrain Interpréter les ordres de travail, les dessins et les spécifications techniques pour exécuter les tâches assignées Effectuer des évaluations de site et des inspections préalables à l'installation Coordonner avec les équipes projet, les clients et le personnel des magasins pour assurer le bon déroulement des installations Tenir à jour des journaux de travail, des rapports et une documentation des livrables précis Se déplacer sur les sites clients dans les régions assignées pour effectuer des installations Assurer le soutien des déploiements en équipes de jour comme de nuit, y compris les week-ends et en dehors des heures ouvrables, selon les besoins Utiliser des chariots élévateurs à nacelle, y compris les nacelles à ciseaux et les nacelles à flèche (formation/certification fournie si nécessaire) Veiller au respect de toutes les normes de sécurité, y compris celles relatives aux EPI et aux travaux en hauteur Qualifications techniques Expérience avérée dans l'installation de câblage structuré en environnements commerciaux ou de distribution Expérience pratique des infrastructures réseau (commutateurs, routeurs, systèmes sans fil, systèmes de point de vente et technologies connexes) Solide compréhension des fondamentaux des réseaux et des méthodologies de dépannage Capacité à lire et interpréter des dessins techniques, des schémas et des documents de portée Expérience dans l'utilisation d'outils manuels et électriques pour l'installation de câblage et de matériel Connaissance pratique de Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) et des systèmes informatiques généraux Certifications et exigences Permis de conduire de classe G valide, avec un dossier de conduite vierge Certification valide pour le travail en hauteur/la protection contre les chutes (Ontario ou équivalent) Certification pour chariot élévateur à nacelle (ou volonté de l'obtenir) Capacité à voyager fréquemment et à travailler de manière autonome dans les régions assignées Accès à un véhicule fiable pour se rendre sur les chantiers Exigences physiques et professionnelles Capacité à soulever et transporter jusqu'à 50 livres Apte à travailler en hauteur et dans diverses conditions de chantier Disponibilité pour travailler par roulement, y compris les soirs, les week-ends et sur appel The Implementation Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting network infrastructure and communications hardware in retail and commercial environments. This role ensures all cabling and systems are properly deployed, tested, and fully operational in alignment with project scope, timelines, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Execute installation of network infrastructure including structured cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, Fiber, Coaxial) and associated hardware Install and configure network and peripheral equipment (switches, routers, servers, POS systems, wireless access points, printers, and security devices) Perform cable routing, fishing, dressing, termination, and cross-connects in accordance with industry standards Install cable supports, pathways, and containment systems as required Test all installed cabling and hardware to ensure performance and compliance with specifications, and validate system functionality including connectivity, performance, and integration with existing infrastructure. Diagnose and resolve cabling, hardware, and network-related issues in the field Interpret work orders, drawings, and technical specifications to execute assigned tasks Conduct site assessments and pre-installation inspections Coordinate with project teams, customers, and store personnel to ensure smooth execution of installations Maintain accurate work logs, reports, and deliverables documentation Travel to customer sites across assigned regions to complete installations Support both day and night shift deployments, including weekends and after-hours work as required Operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWP), including scissor lifts and boom lifts (training/certification provided if required) Ensure adherence to all safety standards, including PPE and working-at-heights requirements Technical Qualifications Proven experience with structured cabling installations in commercial or retail environments Hands-on experience with network infrastructure (switches, routers, wireless systems, POS systems, and related technologies) Strong understanding of network fundamentals and troubleshooting methodologies Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and scope documentation Experience operating hand and power tools in support of cabling and hardware installations Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and general computer systems Certifications & Requirements Valid Class G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract Valid Working at Heights / Fall Protection certification (Ontario or equivalent) Elevated Work Platform (EWP) certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to travel extensively and work independently across assigned regions Access to a reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Comfortable working at heights and in various site conditions Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call support
