Location: Innisfail, Alberta Schedule: Day Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Night Shift Monday - Thursday 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM PLUS a Night Shift Premium $4.00/hr Key Responsibilities: * Work with threaded rigid conduit and bending conduit. * Work with EMT conduit and bending conduit * Pull wire/cable and terminate devices. * Install cable tray and grounding and bonding * SR and MI heat trace install on vessels and piping * Install, trouble-shoot, modify, repair, test, calibrate, commission, and maintain all production and non-production equipment * Knowledge in electrical theory and methods, materials, tools, equipment, and systems used in electrical trade * Work a day shift but be able to participate in an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends if needed * Participate in creating and maintaining safe work procedure documents * Conduct self in a manner consistent with those practices lending to a safe operation and display leadership, professionalism, and a safe work ethic * Work from scaffolding, in confined spaces, and in environments containing chemical, electrical, and mechanical hazards * Working close to other trades * Other duties, as advised by direct supervisor Qualifications/Requirements: * Must be a certified Journeyman Electrician * Minimum two years of experience in industrial, mod yard, new construction * Oilfield electrical experience * Commercial electrical experience * Ability to run a job (order material, understand PNID’s and read drawings) * Minimum of one year experience in Manufacturing industry is an asset * Instrumentation tubing experience is an asset * Mechanically inclined * Decision-making and judgment, strong problem-solving abilities * A valid driver’s license * Electrical conduit experience * Superior troubleshooting skills * Must be able to work with minimum supervision * Must be able to work in a safe and efficient manner * Must have excellent job management skills * Communication skills * Creative and innovative thinking; adaptability/flexibility * Time management; planning and organizing * Accountability and dependability Why Choose Bilton: Competitive Compensation: As an employer of choice, Bilton benefits from the ability to attract and retain high quality employees by providing competitive compensation.
