Accessories Sales Advisor Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the Parts Manager Job Summary The Automotive Accessories Sales Advisor is responsible for driving accessory sales, managing product displays and point-of-sale materials, supporting departmental profitability, and delivering an excellent customer experience. This role works closely with Sales, Finance, Parts, and Service teams to identify customer needs, recommend suitable accessories and upfit solutions, and help maximize revenue opportunities across the dealership. Key Responsibilities Manage the sale, promotion, and display of automotive accessories and point-of-sale materials. Consistently meet or exceed departmental sales budgets, performance targets, and growth objectives. Drive department growth through strategic merchandising, customer engagement, and proactive sales follow-up. Maintain profitability through effective inventory awareness, pricing strategies, and product knowledge. Partner with Finance and Sales departments to align goals, support accessory penetration, and maximize revenue. Collaborate with Parts and Service departments to identify cross-selling opportunities and improve customer satisfaction. Engage daily with new and existing customers to understand their needs, build relationships, and deliver tailored recommendations. Participate in weekly Sales and Finance meetings to review performance, share insights, and plan sales strategies. Work closely with clients to guide truck upfit decisions and help customers achieve their desired vehicle vision. Skills And Qualifications Strong sales, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Knowledge of automotive accessories, truck upfits, merchandising, and dealership operations. Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Finance, Parts, and Service departments. Strong communication skills with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend practical solutions. Results-driven approach with a focus on meeting targets, growing revenue, and maintaining profitability.
