Recruitment Services Advisor Reporting Relationship: The Recruitment Services Advisor reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer. Job Summary: We are seeking a Recruitment Services Advisor to join our Recruitment and Human Resource team. In this role, you will play a key part in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across our organization. You will act as a trusted partner to leaders, helping to build high-performing, diverse teams that support our continued growth Shift Details: Monday - Friday | Full-Time days What You'll Do Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies Lead full-cycle recruitment across a variety of roles (e.g., technicians, sales, administration, leadership) Develop inclusive job postings and sourcing strategies to attract diverse candidate pools Screen, interview, and assess candidates using structured and equitable processes leveraging our HRIS system Provide guidance to leaders on hiring best practices, labour market trends, and candidate experience Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and high-volume roles Support Birchwood branding initiatives and community partnerships Track and report on recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement Qualifications Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR (Automotive or multi-site experience is an asset) Undergraduate degree/Diploma in HR or related field, with commitment to work toward CPHR designation Strong relationship-building and communication skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in hiring practices Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Sound judgment and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools Ability to leverage social media to achieve branding and awareness in the marketplace What Birchwood Can Offer You Competitive compensation – in addition to salary, many roles have bonus and commission incentives that reward you for success Full benefits package including vacation time, company-paid extended health, dental/vision coverage, and employee assistance – with flex plan options RSP Matching program – Birchwood will match up to $5,000 of your regular earnings after 1 year of employment Employee referral bonus program – refer your friends to Birchwood and receive a referral bonus Career development opportunities & internal promotions Learning & development opportunities Wellness program Corporate discounts & group savings plan Volunteer program – Dollars for Doing Company events – Birchwood Bucks, Circle of Excellence, holiday parties Birchwood is Manitoba’s largest automotive retailer.
