We are looking for an experienced Senior Databricks Architect for a subcontractor engagement with a leading client in the Insurance domain. 📍 Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada 🏢 Work Model: 5 Days Onsite - Work from Office is must. ⚠️ Preference: Local candidates in Winnipeg, Manitoba 💼 Role Type: Subcontractor 🏦 Domain: Insurance Mandatory Skills: Databricks & Azure Databricks PySpark Azure DevOps Databricks Genie Agent Bricks Azure Data Factory (ADF) Azure Synapse Azure Data Lake Data Warehousing & Data Lakes. Key Responsibilities: Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale Databricks data platforms. Design secure, scalable, and highly available cloud-based data solutions. Define data architecture strategy, platform roadmap, and release planning. Drive Databricks adoption and modernization initiatives with customer stakeholders. Implement Agent Bricks to enable domain-specific AI agents using enterprise data. Integrate Databricks Genie and AI/BI capabilities for natural-language analytics. Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes supporting Reporting, AI, and Machine Learning. Integrate Azure Data Lake, Azure DevOps pipelines, and Databricks workflows for end-to-end automation. Integrate multiple data sources with enterprise data warehouses and data lakes. Apply strong data modeling, architecture, governance, and cloud best practices. Partner with clients to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions across Azure/AWS. Provide strong technical leadership and clearly communicate technology and platform trade-offs.
