Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This schedule Monday to Thursday shift runs 0700 to 1730 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break Hourly rate: $22.75 Hours of work might change from time to time according to operational demands Reporting directly to the Shunt Coordinator Essential responsibilities are trailer movement, trailer staging, trailer quick-checks, and trailer greasing, along with other general shop/yard duties Responsible for operation of the forklift and assisting on the dock when needed. Training will be provided. Works closely with Shunt Coordinator, Property Services, Fleet Maintenance Manager, Highway and City dispatch, maintenance and the warehouse on daily shunting activities Candidate Profile Company Driver residing in Mississauga or immediate area Tractor-trailer over the road driving experience, minimum 12 months Previous shunt experience is preferred Valid Class 1/AZ license is required Well organized and possess excellent customer service skills Comfortable with smartphone technology for emailing and texting Comfortable backing in all manner of tight spaces and locations Reliable, flexible and punctual Are you registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse?
