Job summary
Successful candidates are eligible for a $5,000 Sign-on Bonus!* This position is subject to a Monday to Friday schedule, 7:30am-16:00. As the Mobile Trailer Technician you will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Mechanics, and the other Tractor Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action. This position will work outside of the shop running our Mobile Repair Unit. Qualifications: Licensed heavy duty mechanic or a valid CVIP inspection license Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities will be key to your success in this position Previous experience and qualification to perform Safety inspections are considered an asset in this position Ability to provide superior customer service to our drivers Ability to work unsupervised Willingness to work outside May stand and walk on level and uneven surfaces, twist, bend, push, pull, crouch, climb stairs, bend and crawl, grasp, drag, lift and carry items weighing 50 lbs or less. Our Ideal Candidate will possess: Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of Transport Trailers in the yard. 2-3 years of experience working on transport trailers and a great mechanical aptitude would be considered an asset in this position. Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities will be key to your success in this position.
