Administrative Assistant - Intermediate Location: Edmonton, AB - On-site Duration: 6-month contract Full-time Position Summary This role focuses on proofreading, formatting, editing, accuracy, and ensuring documents meet established standards before they are finalized and published. Key Responsibilities Review and prepare formal decision documents for distribution. Format and proofread documents for accuracy, grammar, and consistency. Review policy and legislative references within documents. Provide plain-language and editing feedback to decision-makers. Ensure documents follow established formatting and style guidelines. Identify and correct errors in completed documents. Communicate with decision-makers regarding suggested edits or potential errors. Complete final quality checks to ensure documents are accurate and publication-ready. Support accurate reporting and information tracking as required. Ideal Candidate Strong proofreading, editing, and document formatting skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable reviewing detailed or technical documents. Able to identify errors and communicate suggested changes professionally. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines.
