Senior Solutions Designer Work Location: Jarvis Street, Toronto, Ontario Work Arrangement: Onsite, five days per week Working Hours: Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., excluding lunch Start Date: October 1, 2026 End Date: March 31, 2027 Incorp Rate: $100-$110.26/hr Interview Requirements: Interviews will be conducted in person and will include an assignment and presentation. Candidates unable to attend onsite will not be considered. 2. Position Overview The Enterprise Financial Services Division is seeking a Senior Solutions Designer to lead a Proof of Concept (POC) assessing the migration of the Public Accounts consolidation application, CONSOL, from the legacy Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) platform to Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud, specifically Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS). The successful candidate will assess current and future-state requirements, design and configure the target environment, develop the POC, and evaluate migration feasibility. Findings will inform the implementation approach, project plan, timelines, resource requirements, and estimated costs for a potential full-scale migration. 3. Key Responsibilities Lead the assessment and design of the migration from HFM to Oracle EPM Cloud/FCCS. Gather and analyze business, financial, technical, and reporting requirements. Assess current-state systems, processes, architecture, performance, and capacity. Develop the target-state solution design and configure the environment for the POC. Evaluate migration feasibility, risks, dependencies, gaps, and potential improvements. Analyze financial consolidation, forecasting, management accounting, and Public Accounts requirements. Develop recommendations, technical specifications, and supporting documentation. Consult with vendors, technical teams, and business stakeholders to resolve application issues. Assess solution costs, benefits, implementation timelines, and resource requirements. Prepare and present POC findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management. Contribute to the future project plan, migration strategy, and implementation roadmap. Ensure alignment with applicable security, recovery, architecture, and technology standards. 4. Mandatory Qualifications Demonstrated experience designing solutions using Oracle EPM Cloud. Experience analyzing and designing the migration of existing HFM consolidation applications. Experience implementing and supporting the migration of large, complex financial applications. Knowledge of financial planning, management accounting, forecasting, consolidation, and financial reporting applications. Preferred: Experience with Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS). Nice to Have: Previous Ontario Public Service (OPS) or public sector experience.
