The HVAC Technician position is located in Saskatoon, SK and will report directly to the Service Supervisor. We’re looking for an experienced HVAC/Plumber Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of RTU/HVAC systems and be able to troubleshoot and repair issues as they arise. We are primarily an HVAC company but do work on chillers and smaller refrigeration systems Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Work on RTUs and HVAC systems Inspect system components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, fan motors, fans, and expansion valves. Perform system checks, system troubleshooting, and refrigerant recovery. Perform electrical and gas system troubleshooting. Maintain records including daily service logs, refrigerant recovery reports, and service records. Research and resolve complex system problems. Complete assigned paperwork and forms Conduct safety inspections, including proper use of personal protective equipment, and verify that safety regulations are followed. COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS Communicates Effectively Continuous Learning Customer Focus Problem Solving and Innovation Values and Respects Others EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Previous experience as a HVAC technician. HVAC certification. Braising and soldering skills. Knowledge of local building codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics. Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills. Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions. Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment. SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Clean Class 5 SK Driver’s License and abstract Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to always maintain a professional demeanor with fellow employees, customers, and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills.
