Are you a Journeyperson Piping Welder or Pressure Piping Welder who wants to work for a family owned and operated business that has been serving the Construction Industry for over 100 years? If so, Black and McDonald has an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently looking for a Pressure Piping Welder or Journeyman Piping Welder to join our Fabrication Division. This is a role that will be interesting and dynamic as no two days will be the same. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Weld pipe components according to GMAW(STT)/FCAW/GTW/SMAW Welding Processes Able to pass x-ray of weld joints Work with the QA/QC, Piping and Fabrication shop to ensure standards are met Maintain high safety standards in accordance with Black & McDonald safety programs Must be able to weld using GMAW(STT)/FCAW/GTW/SMAW processes at all positions. COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS Change Orientation Teamwork and Collaboration Values and Respects Others QUALIFICATIONS Journeyperson red seal TSASK qualified welders or able to meet the TSASK quality of hiring. Preference to hold Welder Certification Ticket as per GMAW(STT)/FCAW/GTW/SMAW welding processes CWB welding certificate is an asset SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Ability to work in a fabrication shop while maintaining safety standards #LI-AD21

Requirements

Candidates must be Journeyperson Red Seal TSASK qualified welders with proficiency in multiple welding processes. The ability to pass x-ray inspections and maintain high safety standards is mandatory.
