Job Description Blackbird Security Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated District Manager to join our operations team in Fraser Valley, BC Role Summary As the District Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the security operations within your assigned district, reporting directly to the West Canada Operations Manager and Director of Operations. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive support and oversight for all company operations within the district. Ensure effective management of all assigned sites. Facilitate and ensure proper training is provided to new hires within the district. Manage and maintain control over company-owned property, such as uniforms and equipment. Assist the Regional Manager in overseeing operations, client management, and other related tasks. Efficiently manage and lead the workforce within your district. Actively contribute to company growth by maintaining strong client relationships. Create and manage weekly employee schedules for the district. Maintain accurate scheduling records using TrackTik software. Be available to cover shifts in emergency situations. Complete necessary administrative tasks, including new hire paperwork, reports, and forms. Address client needs and concerns promptly and professionally through email and phone communication. Oversee the security operations of 20+ retail locations. Supervise and provide guidance to a team of 50+ security personnel. Qualifications And Skills Valid BC Security License. Valid Advance Security Training (AST) is an asset. Previous supervisory experience is required. Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle. Proven experience in the security industry is mandatory. Priori retail security experience is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in the English language, including electronic communication. Willingness to attend meetings and training sessions to enhance skills. Knowledgeable about safety processes and procedures. Strong leadership skills with the ability to set clear objectives. Prior management experience will be considered an asset. Post-secondary degree is a plus. What’s in for you? Requirements
