Wear plain clothes to work undercover, discreetly blending in with shoppers. Patrol store aisles, monitor customers, and watch security camera footage. Confront individuals you suspect of theft, who have unpaid merchandise. Escort trespassers out of the client premises. Perform arrests, detainments, and recover unpaid merchandise Complete required documentation for security incidents such as theft and violations. Escalate situation to law enforcement as required. Respond to emergency situations appropriately in a timely manner. The Ideal Candidate A keen interest in asset protection and crime prevention A Valid Alberta Security License Use of Force is mandatory. Experience with arrests and detaining shoplifting Previous security experience in a retail environment Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. Requirements
