Lead ITSM Developer In this role, you will contribute to the development of our industry-leading Service Management solutions, with a focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) and Enterprise Service Management (ESM) products. You will be responsible for advancing product capabilities, addressing product defects, and supporting the resolution of customer issues. As part of your responsibilities, you will collaborate with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: Develop new product capabilities as part of assigned product capability development and bug fixes. Investigate and resolve product issues to improve stability and performance. Address customer-reported issues with a focus on timely and effective resolution. Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and incorporate improvements on an ongoing basis. Analyze complex systems and apply innovative approaches to solve challenging problems. Participate in design reviews and technical discussions to support informed decision-making. Communicate project status, proactively highlight risks, and recommend mitigation plans to stakeholders to build confidence in execution. Promote a culture of autonomy, transparency, collaboration, and customer focus. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to support their growth and effectiveness. Build strong working relationships with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and customers. Deliver projects and tasks on time, within scope, and within budget. Adhere to workplace procedures and policies while upholding high ethical standards. To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: 10+ years of professional experience in global enterprise environments. Strong Helix ITSM workflow development experience, including building new product capabilities. Exposure to Innovation Suite based application development. Solid understanding of enterprise ITSM solutions and the Helix ITSM product landscape. Experience in applying AI tools and technologies in product development. Experience with modern SaaS delivery methodologies, including Agile, Lean, CI/CD, and DevOps. Customer-oriented, with the ability to proactively understand customer needs and goals. Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders effectively and with conviction. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to create compelling presentations. Results-oriented and data-driven, with strong analytical, strategic, and creative thinking skills. Willingness to go the extra mile to achieve important goals, including flexibility to support globally distributed teams and customers outside standard working hours when needed. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Helix's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits. At Helix, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $116,250 - $193,750
