Job Description Summary: This position will be vital to the business's day-to-day and long-term goals. The individual needs to be highly motivated and able to work in a flexible environment. As Borealis continues to grow, the individual will have the opportunity to grow with the company. This position will be responsible for leading and developing the service team in the Central AB branch area. As a Class A/B gas fitter, Borealis expects this role to be split between coaching and mentoring an apprentice and performing A/B gas fitting work. Borealis deems this position an essential role within its organization for operations in the Alberta Area. Duties & Responsibilities: Report directly to the Service Manager. Support Borealis’ vision for LPG service excellence in the region Help Borealis build and lead a strong service team with skilled labour. Mentor and coach new employees and apprentices. Coordinate new tank installations and tank swap-outs. Design, build, permit and service bulk storage facilities. Design, build, permit and service industrial gas distribution systems. Participate in Business Development activities and initiatives when required. Install, repair, service, and replace propane gas appliances, regulators, gas meters, valves, burners, and vaporizers in residential, commercial, or industrial-related properties and areas. Perform new tank installations and tank swap-outs Work on liquid piping systems and install, repair and maintain vaporizers Support the Borealis team in estimating and preparing proposals for new commercial and industrial customers. Continue to develop knowledge of the CSA B149.1 and B149.2 codes and apply the rules. Education & Experience: Minimum High School Diploma Gas Fitter schooling and apprenticeships for Gas Fitter A or B in Alberta Bulk handling and bottle fill PTI-recognized courses Class 3 with air/crane experience (preferred but not required) Position Requirements: Gas Fitter A or B Certificate of Qualification in Alberta, or able to obtain Extensive knowledge of the propane and LPG industry Extensive knowledge of gas-fired appliances Proficient with computers and office software Exceptional communication and time management skills. Multitasking and the ability to work with teams. Be part of an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies Solid knowledge of the Canadian Oil and Gas industry Communication and self-organization skills, a hands-on mentality Attention to detail and a self-starter Ability to work away from home from time to time to execute large projects and/or service remote customer locations

Requirements
Requires a Class B Gas Fitter Certificate of Qualification in Alberta and a high school diploma. Must possess a Class 1 or 3 driver's license with Air Brake endorsement and knowledge of the LPG industry.
