About the Role As a Software Developer at Botpress, you'll be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions that drive the future of conversational AI. As part of the engineering team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain scalable applications that enhance the capabilities of our AI agent platform. You'll use your technical expertise to solve complex problems while ensuring the highest standards of code quality and performance. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy customer-impacting features Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to define and implement new features Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to ensure best practices and continuous improvement Participate in troubleshooting and debugging complex production issues Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team Who You Are Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role in a fast-paced environment Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and frameworks like React Solid understanding of software development principles, patterns, and methodologies Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) is a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders A passion for exploring new technologies and a desire to contribute to a rapidly evolving product An enthusiastic team player driven to achieve results and contribute to the overall success of Botpress About Botpress Botpress raised a $25 million Series B round in 2025.
