Purpose of the Role Reporting to the Email Marketing Manager, the Email Marketing Specialist contributes to the development, optimization, and performance of La Vie en Rose’s email campaigns to support sales growth, customer retention, and the customer experience. The incumbent serves as a subject matter expert by analyzing campaign performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and recommending strategic initiatives. They also coordinate email campaigns and promote best practices to maximize communication relevance, campaign effectiveness, and the customer journey. Key Responsibilities Participate in the development, evolution, and execution of email marketing strategies to support growth and performance objectives Plan, segment, and optimize email campaigns (marketing newsletters, transactional communications, and automated customer journeys) Manage and evolve the email campaign calendar in line with business priorities, promotions, and marketing objectives Collaborate with Content, Creative, Merchandising, and CRM teams to ensure consistency in communications and audience targeting Oversee the preparation of briefs, coordinate campaign production, and ensure quality control of all email deployments (content, targeting, links, and rendering) Act as the primary point of contact for email marketing projects, ensuring alignment among stakeholders, priorities, and timelines Analyze performance indicators (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, unsubscribe rates) and formulate data-driven strategic recommendations Identify optimization opportunities related to content, segmentation, and personalization to improve campaign performance and customer experience Use email marketing and artificial intelligence tools to optimize content creation, segmentation, testing, and overall campaign performance Your Profile Analytical and results-oriented mindset: You interpret performance data and translate it into actionable recommendations to optimize campaigns. Strategic perspective: You understand business challenges and contribute to initiatives that support growth and customer engagement. Excellent prioritization skills: You effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Attention to detail and commitment to quality: You ensure excellence in communications and their execution through a strong focus on accuracy and quality. Collaboration and communication: You work effectively with a variety of stakeholders and foster smooth project coordination. Use of AI platforms: You leverage email marketing tools and AI solutions to create more effective, relevant, and engaging campaigns. You optimize A/B testing and use data-driven insights to continuously improve communication performance, while ensuring stronger personalization and greater impact across audiences. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field; 5 years of experience in an email marketing role; Experience in the retail and/or fashion industry (an asset); Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Klaviyo, Adobe Campaign, or equivalent); Knowledge of Google Analytics or other performance measurement tools; Knowledge of Power BI (an asset); Bilingual, both spoken and written (French and English); The individual will need to communicate with external suppliers. May require availability outside regular business hours based on business needs.
