We are currently seeking an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical team in Calgary. Reporting to Erik Byrgesen, a highly people-oriented leader with a strong vision for excellence, this role offers the opportunity to grow within a collaborative team that is committed to continuous improvement and high performance. Key Responsibilities Develop electrical designs, project specifications, and electrical drawing details for building electrical systems, including but not limited to power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and communications, using Revit, AutoCAD, or any other BIM collaboration software. Perform design coordination and quality control on assigned projects. Collaborate with clients and consultants throughout the project. Project management: Ensure that scheduling, time management, and reporting are implemented effectively and efficiently. Effectively communicate and coordinate among all parties and disciplines involved in assigned projects. Accountable for on-site Construction Administration, including completion of site surveys and inspections on construction sites in assigned projects. Essential Functions Effective Communication: Ensuring efficient communication and coordination among all project stakeholders. Service Quality: Responsible for delivering high-quality service on assigned projects. Client Interaction: Extensive interaction with clients, vendor representatives, and project field personnel. Client Satisfaction: Maintaining strong client relationships and high levels of client satisfaction. Problem Solving: Performing assignments with minimal instructions and offering solutions to complex problems. Client Engagement: Participating in job site visits, client meetings, and presentations. Technological Awareness: Staying up to date with the latest technological advancements. Work Environment & Physical Demands Flexible Schedule: This role may require after-hours work, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, as project workloads dictate. Varied Locations: While most of the work will be office-based, there may be occasional travel to client offices, production facilities, or construction job sites. Conditions will vary, but the above-mentioned conditions will generally apply. Calgary-Centric: Most work will be in or around the city of Calgary, with occasional travel outside of this area. Driver’s License: Having a valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional use is an asset.
