Why Wright Canada Holdings: * A Company Culture of Safety, Family, Integrity, Excellence and Stewardship * We provide ALL equipment needed except your CSA Certified Work Boots * Working shifts, Monday to Friday * Medical and Dental benefits * Employee Ownership potential Essential Job Duties: * Keep the worksite clean and organized by removing fallen tree debris, including branches, leaves, and trunks * Ensure that pathways are clear and safe for workers and equipment * Support Arborists fetching tools, holding materials, or providing general help * Load and unload trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris, or feed brush into a woodchipper * Set up tools and equipment for arborists to use * Help arborists assess the health and structural integrity of trees, possibly by assisting with measurements, observations, or gathering data * Perform physically demanding manual labor in various weather conditions * Set up barriers or signs to keep the area safe for the crew and the public * Request repairs or replacement of equipment when necessary * Actively support and encourage working safely and supporting a positive team environment * Report safety hazards or unsafe working conditions to supervisors * Ensure that materials and equipment are stored in a safe and organized manner * Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership * Comply with applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures * Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings Other Duties: * Position may require some outside travel * During emergencies or natural disasters may be required to be on duty for the duration of the disaster * Works around excessive noise from machines, chainsaws, woodchipper and must wear proper personal protective equipment Join Our Team: Wright Tree Service of Canada is a business unit of an employee-owned company formed in 2017, known as Wright Canada Holdings (WCH).
