SPECTRUM RESOURCE GROUP The Position: Senior Mechanic Type: Full-Time Compensation: $37 to $45 based on experience Job Summary: The Senior Mechanic at Wright Canada Holdings is responsible for mentoring the maintenance team and provide support to shop and fleet, maintenance, and repairs. Essential Job Duties: * Oversee and assist in maintenance and repairs of Wright Canada Holdings’ fleet of equipment and vehicles * Communicate with team members to provide guidance and assist with operational challenges * Audit Fleet work orders to ensure they are being completed daily * Assist the Warehouse Coordinator with ordering parts * Support the disposal and procurement of assets * Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership * Comply with applicable federal and provincial laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures * Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings * Assist with mentoring apprentice mechanics and other team members Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements: * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook * Ability to work well under pressure * Capable of working efficiently and effectively * Commitment to perform responsibilities with high professional and ethical standards * Able to provide and maintain basic mechanic tools * Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills * Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors Education, Certification & Experience Requirements: * Completion of a 4-year apprentice program for Automotive Technicians * Journeyperson certification * Minimum of 5 years of related experience

The Senior Mechanic is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the company's fleet of equipment and vehicles. This includes mentoring apprentice mechanics, auditing work orders, and supporting asset procurement and disposal.

Candidates must have a Journeyperson certification from a 4-year Automotive Technician apprentice program and at least 5 years of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to provide basic mechanic tools are also required.
