Bradford Jacobs has partnered with a newly independent technology and industrial group headquartered in Toronto. The group is developing and commercialising innovative products across technology and robotics, alongside strategic investments within the technology sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, senior leadership team at an early stage and play a central role in building the organisation through its first phase of growth. The Role You will own the investor relations programme, disclosure calendar and shareholder communications, helping establish the standards and processes that will underpin the company’s credibility with investors and the wider market. This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior leadership, finance, legal counsel and external advisors throughout the listing process and beyond. What You’ll Do Build the investor relations programme from the ground up, including the IR website, disclosure calendar, shareholder communications and press-release processes Develop and manage relationships with investors, analysts, market makers and other capital-markets stakeholders Support the company throughout the listing process and establish ongoing investor engagement activities Work closely with securities counsel to develop and maintain appropriate disclosure controls and reporting processes Support the registration and regulatory process associated with becoming a publicly traded company Coordinate with the creative team to develop high-quality investor presentations, corporate materials and communications Ensure all external communications are accurate, well-supported and consistent with public filings Act as a key point of contact for shareholders and the wider investment community What You Bring Experience in investor relations, sell-side research or capital-markets communications, ideally within or covering a listed small-cap company Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, precise and legally robust communications Strong understanding of investor communications and public-market expectations Confidence engaging with a broad shareholder base, including active retail investors Experience working alongside legal, finance and senior leadership teams Knowledge of U.S. reporting requirements and frameworks for foreign private issuers would be advantageous A highly detail-oriented and commercially aware approach, with the ability to operate independently in a newly established function Compensation Base salary: CAD $110,000 – $140,000 Stock option grant providing long-term upside potential This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IR or capital-markets communications professional to take ownership of a function from day one and have a direct influence on how a newly public company establishes its reputation and relationships with the market.
