Job summary
Brandt is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician located in Regina, SK. This position ensures the products produced at Brandt adhere to Brandt’s quality standards and/or the customer’s applicable quality standards. It is also responsible for the development and implementation of procedures related to inspection activities, the detection and resolution of NCR’s, and ultimately the delivery of conforming product to all of Brandt’s customers. Duties & Responsibilities Create and Implement Product Quality Plans Create Inspection & Test Plans, SOP’s, and other Quality Assurance documents as necessary Train new and existing staff on Quality Expectations & Processes Facilitate the NCR process, which includes efficiently resolving all NCR’s and ensuring effective corrective and preventative actions are implemented. Achievement of assigned Quality Goals Work with other QA department staff and Brandt manufacturing locations Audit processes/procedures to confirm conformance and present results Maintain location specific Quality Metrics as identified by the QA manager Present a monthly Quality Report for your corresponding manufacturing location Investigate warranty claims and customer complaints as requested & communicate back to Operations Identify warranty trends and implement preventative measures as requested Perform tool and equipment calibrations as required Utilize metrics to continuously improve enterprise performance Assist in development of QA standards and procedures Work with a focus on QA, not QC Other duties as assigned
