Role Description This full-time, on-site Advanced Care Paramedic role is based in Edmonton, AB and supports industrial and oilfield clients with high-quality medical care and emergency response services. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing advanced life support, assessing and stabilizing patients, and managing medical incidents in remote or industrial environments. The Advanced Care Paramedic will conduct on-site medical assessments, maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation, and collaborate with other safety personnel to support emergency planning and incident response. The role also involves regular equipment checks, ensuring readiness of medical supplies, adhering to company protocols and regulatory standards, and actively participating in safety meetings and training. The successful candidate will represent Bravo Target Safety professionally, contribute to a culture of safety, and support clients with proactive medical and health guidance. Qualifications Current Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) certification and registration in good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory body. Demonstrated skills in advanced life support, patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and emergency interventions in pre-hospital or industrial settings. Experience working in industrial, oilfield, or remote environments, with strong situational awareness and hazard recognition abilities. Proficiency in documentation, report writing, and maintaining accurate medical records in accordance with regulatory and company standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, clients, and partner agencies. Ability to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and prioritize tasks during emergency situations. Physical fitness sufficient for responding to emergencies, lifting and moving equipment and patients, and working in varying weather and site conditions. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel to client sites as needed. Completion of relevant safety certifications (e.g., First Aid/CPR, H2S Alive, CSTS, confined space, fall protection) is an asset.
