Center: Leaside, ON Job Type: Full-Time Additional information: Our meals are catered at Leaside, so no cooking is required. The kitchen is located in the basement, and our centre has stairs. Kitchen staff must be comfortable carrying lunch bins up and down the stairs to serve our 8 classrooms. The role also includes light cleaning and weekly laundry duties. No evenings or weekends! As a Cook, you will prepare nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the children in our care. When you are not preparing food, serving meals, or cleaning, you will work in the classrooms to assist our teachers. Responsibilities include: • Organizing orders for food as needed. • Serving meals from a catered service provided daily. • Ensuring safety and sanitization in the kitchen environment as per Public Health requirements. • Understanding dietary restrictions in centre for individual children. • Washing dishes after meals. • Other duties as assigned.
