Job Description Finance Manager JD Job Description The Finance Manager will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for preparing and managing all aspects of the Accounting and Financial Reporting functions of Brookfield Infrastructure Group's Corporate Advisor entities. The role will collaborate with many other departments, including private funds, treasury, tax, other finance and investment professionals in the organization. Responsibilities Accounts Payable Process Review cost allocations and coding of invoices related to global deal costs, public company costs, Advisor costs and portfolio company costs Monitor payment journals for Infrastructure paying entities and assist in investigation on invoice disputes and resolve billing and payment issues in a timely manner Accounts Receivable Process Oversee the monthly invoicing process Utilize and monitor the Robotic Process Automation (“RPA”) bot for the monthly invoice process Coordinate with the Infrastructure Group’s private funds team to ensure timely reimbursements Accounting Operations Take ownership of day-to-day recording of journal entries and bank reconciliations in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (“Dynamics”) Perform initial review of journal entries and reporting materials prepared by junior team members Oversee intercompany reconciliation, settlements and apply reimbursements at sub-ledger level by communicating with various Brookfield business groups Identify opportunities for improvement and take ownership on implementing effective and efficient processes Maintain organized and well-documented policies and procedure documents Tax filing Prepare monthly HST return filing workbook Compile information for annual corporate tax return and audit queries Quarterly Reporting Establish strong relationships with global teams to obtain and ensure proper understanding, documentation and receipt of all reporting deliverables Prepare financial results, reporting packages & financial statements Oversee transfer pricing and private fund management fees calculation process Prepare fund flows and other various analyses and reports for senior management to support their business decision making Requirements CPA designation completed with 5 - 7 years of experience working in a corporate accounting or audit firm, preferably in financial services or asset management People management experience is an asset (e.g., Team Lead, Supervisor, Assistant Manager) The ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) Very strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines Self-motivated, resourceful, and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload and professional development Proficient in MS Office applications, with focus on Excel Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset Comp Range: $110,000 - $140,000 Position Opening Reason: New Position Brookfield is committed to maintaining a Positive Work Environment that is safe, respectful; our shared success depends on it. Requirements
