Job summary

We are seeking an Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing Validation Engineer to report to the Product Development Team Leader - Connected Vehicles. In this role, you will help design, develop, and deploy manufacturing validation solutions across all product lines and plants. In this role, you will have a major impact both upstream on the design of E/E architectures and downstream on validation strategies and technologies across all production sites. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Influence the electrical and electronic architecture of vehicles, technological directions, and the manufacturing validation strategies used at BRP. Automated test equipment and sequences are to be designed, developed, and deployed to ensure vehicle compliance on assembly lines. Develop and evolve manufacturing validation solutions to improve the quality, robustness, and efficiency of operations. Verification and laboratory testing activities are to be conducted, including unit, integration, and performance tests of the developed solutions. Ensure their projects are managed in accordance with the NPD development process through governance, activity reports, technical deliverables, and other means. Act as a technical reference for complex issues observed in the plant and collaborate with product engineering or operations teams to ensure their resolution. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, or a relevant discipline. Experience in object-oriented software development (e.g., Python, Java, .NET, C++, Lua). Strong understanding of embedded electrical and electronic systems, including reading electrical schematics and communication protocols such as CAN and UDS. Experience in the development or integration of automated systems or test equipment. Experience with PLCs and HMIs is considered an asset. Ability to analyze and solve complex problems involving software, electronics, and manufacturing systems. Leadership, autonomy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Functional bilingualism (French and English). Experience in a manufacturing environment or in the development of technological products (asset).
