We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer VCC. As part of your role, you’ll directly contribute to the company’s success by innovating and continuously improving its products. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Design, prototype, validate and put into production parts mainly related to bodywork and plastic structures of SSV vehicles using a rigorous development process Perform studies, analyzes and calculations to guide the direction of projects and collaborators Participate in the establishment of performance criteria, establish validation plans and ensure their execution Collaborate with the Design, Marketing, Purchasing, Quality and Production teams in the different stages of the product development process Participate in the documentation of knowledge related to its work Develop the vision guiding the development of its systems on new platforms YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or plastics Relevant experience of 1 to 3 years in the design or manufacture of plastic elements Experience in the design or manufacture of mechanical elements, an asset Good knowledge of the principles of design and processing of plastic parts and a good understanding of mechanical principles, tolerancing, resistance of materials and product development Knowledge of Catia, finite elements (FEA) and other simulation tools, an asset Be able to provide innovative solutions while optimizing quality, reliability and cost Bilingualism (French and English) essential both orally and in writing ACKNOWLEDGING THE POWER OF DIVERSITY BRP is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs and experiences.
