Job summary

We are looking for a Team Leader to head our SR&ED team within the Product Development Centre of Expertise. Reporting to the Support Team Manager, you will mobilize a team of specialized professionals and play a key role in ensuring the quality of claims and maximizing the funding secured for BRP’s innovation activities. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Supervise, mobilize and develop the team of professionals responsible for preparing technical descriptions and tax credit applications for Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED). Develop and maintain partnerships with engineering teams to identify eligible projects and support the preparation of claims. Analyze the eligibility of new project types or development teams and implement the required processes to capture relevant funding opportunities. Establish annual tax credit forecasts and track the amounts claimed and received. Lead the preparation of files and communications with government authorities regarding audits or requests for information. Monitor regulatory changes related to SR&ED and government funding programs. Define and implement process improvements to ensure claim compliance and maximize funding. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: University degree in engineering, applied sciences, computer science, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in preparing or managing SR&ED claims. Excellent writing and synthesis skills. Ability to understand, analyze, and simplify complex technical concepts. Experience in team management, mentoring, or functional coordination within a technical environment. Inspiring leadership is required to foster engagement, collaboration, and accountability among team members. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and communicate effectively.
