Bruce GM is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our Service Departments. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, with a focus on maximizing efficiency, profitability, and productivity while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will provide leadership and support to the service teams, ensuring a high standard of professionalism, workmanship, and customer care that builds lasting relationships. Responsibilities: Lead, coach, and motivate the Service Department teams in Middleton and Digby Oversee daily operations of the Service Department Ensure exceptional customer service and positive ownership satisfaction Ensure that repairs are completed accurately, efficiently and according to manufacturer standards Ensure compliance with GM policies, dealership procedures, and safety regulations Monitor warranty and internal repair processes Assist in hiring, training, and development of department employees Handle escalated customer concerns and resolve issues professionally Assist in the planning of departmental goals and targets. Ensure training for all employees and encourage technicians to keep their skills up to date through periodic technical training offered by manufacturers. Monitor employee performance, set goals and objectives, and support their growth. Effectively handle and implement change when needed. In cooperation with the dealership’s management team, must review the previous month’s sales/profit performance to determine where improvements can be made. Work with the Parts Department to maintain an efficient fixed operation. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of Automotive Service Management experience High School Diploma Valid Driver’s License & clean Driver's Abstract Strong knowledge of automotive repair Understanding of service department financials, KPI, and profitability Advanced computer skills; PBS experience is considered an asset Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrate ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results. Clear Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey ideas, information, and instructions clearly and concisely Organizing & Planning: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to plan and execute tasks, projects, and resources effectively. Customer Enthusiasm: A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. Effective Delegating & Empowering: Proven experience in assigning tasks, empowering team members, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Requirements

Requires at least three years of automotive service management experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, and strong knowledge of automotive repair and service department financials. Candidates should demonstrate leadership, communication, organizational, customer service, delegation, and computer skills; PBS experience is an asset.
