We are currently seeking an experienced NPI Trades Advisor to support Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) maintenance operations at Christina Lake North. Reporting to the NPI Lead, this position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing maintenance contractors supporting site infrastructure, camp facilities, and non-process buildings. The successful candidate will be a safety-focused leader with strong contractor management experience and a background in industrial maintenance, construction, or facilities operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with operational priorities. Key Responsibilities Provide field leadership and promote a strong safety culture through regular site presence and contractor engagement. Coordinate and oversee contractor activities related to: Building operations HVAC systems Electrical systems Plumbing Carpentry Communications networks Janitorial services Water and wastewater operations Prioritize and schedule maintenance activities based on operational requirements and site priorities. Facilitate toolbox meetings and coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Support planning, scheduling, permitting, and execution of maintenance work. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in incident investigations and support corrective action development. Utilize SAP and work management systems to track maintenance activities, contractor performance, and invoice approvals. Support budgeting, cost tracking, and contractor performance management initiatives. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Journeyperson certification in a building trade discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance and/or construction environments. Minimum 3 years of experience providing field leadership, contractor oversight, or work coordination. Strong understanding of maintenance planning and execution processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Experience with CMMS systems; SAP experience is considered an asset. Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment. Preferred Qualifications Project management experience. Experience managing contractors in industrial or oil and gas operations. Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups and multidisciplinary teams.
