Job summary
Supply Chain Lead (Contract) Calgary, AB | Hybrid (Minimum 3 days/week in office) Brunel is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Lead to support a portfolio of major energy projects across Western Canada. This role will provide contracting, procurement, and commercial leadership for projects in various stages of development and execution. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute contracting and procurement strategies for capital projects. Lead sourcing activities, tendering processes, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations. Manage engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction-related contracts. Support contract administration, change management, claims mitigation, and contractor performance management. Collaborate with project, engineering, construction, finance, and supply chain stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Identify commercial risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Law, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in Contracting & Procurement, Supply Chain, or Commercial Management. Experience supporting major capital projects in the energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial sectors. Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with both reimbursable and lump-sum contracts. SAP, Ariba, or Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) experience is an asset.
