Job summary
- Position Summary: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Janitor position is responsible for general cleaning of all lab area and floor, including taking out garbage and other waste materials from various offices. Duties & Responsibilities: Cleaning of all offices and the lunchroom, including daily removal of garbage. Maintenance of all washrooms, including replenish paper supplies (toilet paper, soap & paper towels) as required. General cleaning of all lab areas and floors daily. Taking out garbage and other general waste materials from different departments except for the digestion area. Comply with occupational health and safety legislation, BV Group Policies and Procedures, Upstream Minerals Management System Policies and Procedures and ISO standards applicable to the position. Act in a safe and professional manner and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment (PPE). Other tasks as assigned. Experience, Qualifications & Required Skills: Completion of High School Some experience in janitorial duties an asset Good English, verbal and written Strong organizing and time management skills Able to work independently and as a part of a team when required
