Job Title: Senior Application / Solutions Architect – Healthcare Location: Fredericton, NB (Onsite) Client: Public Sector Duration: 12+ Months (Extension Possible) Note: We are looking for a Senior Application / Solutions Architect with strong experience in solution architecture, application design, development, and healthcare systems. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of the Personal Health Number (PHN) Registry, provide technical architecture guidance, and work closely with Medicare, MyHealthNB, eHealthNB, and other healthcare stakeholders. Key Skills (50%) Strong experience with Solution Architecture / Application Architecture Experience designing and developing enterprise applications Strong technical design and solution development experience Experience with code reviews and design reviews Knowledge of secure application design and coding practices Experience with API / system integration and application enhancements Strong understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC Experience creating and maintaining functional and technical design documentation Experience (30%) 8+ years of experience in Application / Solutions Architecture Experience leading application design, development, and implementation Strong experience working with business, technical, and application support teams Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions Experience with system testing, UAT, defect management, and production stabilization Experience working in healthcare, Medicare, eHealth, or government environments is an asset Experience leading technical working groups and providing architecture direction Other Skills (20%) Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills Experience working with DBAs, developers, business teams, architects, and support teams Experience with Agile/Scrum and team ceremonies Strong documentation and technical specification skills Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to staff and consultants Ability to support production issues, troubleshooting, and code fixes Must Have Application / Solutions Architecture Technical Design & Solution Architecture Application Development Code Review / Design Review Secure Application Design System Integration UAT / System Testing Functional & Technical Documentation Responsibilities Lead the design and development of the Personal Health Number (PHN) Registry Provide solution architecture guidance and technical direction to staff and consultants Lead technical design, development methods, and architecture decisions Collaborate with Medicare, MyHealthNB, eHealthNB, DBA, and healthcare stakeholders Lead and participate in the PHN technical working group Review application designs and development through code and design reviews Ensure secure application design and coding requirements are followed Support UAT planning, system testing, and defect management Support production stabilization, troubleshooting, and code fixes Develop and maintain functional and technical design documentation Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and provide technical guidance to the project team If interested, please share your resume at: 📧 Afzal.Khan@buzzclan.com
