IT Project Controller – Intermediate Location: Calgary, AB, Canada Duration: 12 Months Key Responsibilities: Manage project budgets, forecasting, commitments, and financial reporting for assigned IT projects. Monitor project financials and provide monthly reporting and analysis. Support requisitions, purchase orders, and routine project administration. Partner with Project Managers, Delivery Managers, and Senior Project Controllers. Support IT infrastructure projects such as network upgrades and data-center initiatives. Use SAP, preferably SAP PS (Project System), for project controls and administration. Must-Have Qualifications: Approximately 5 years of project-controls experience. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, commitments, project monitoring, financial analysis, and reporting. Ability to independently manage routine project-control activities. Experience working with Project Managers and/or Delivery Managers. Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Alberta. Preferred: IT infrastructure/project experience, especially network or data-center projects. Hands-on SAP PS experience. Experience with requisitions and purchase orders.

Requirements

Approximately five years of project-controls experience is required, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, monitoring, and reporting. Candidates should be able to independently manage routine controls activities, work with project or delivery managers, and work in a hybrid environment in Alberta; IT infrastructure, SAP PS, requisitions, and purchase-order experience are preferred.
