Location: Niagara Falls, ON Status: Full-Time Permanent This posting is to fill an existing vacancy. About the Role The Dispatcher plays a key role in coordinating daily transportation operations for Niagara Airbus. This position is responsible for scheduling drivers, organizing passenger pick‑ups and drop‑offs, monitoring routes, and ensuring timely, efficient, and safe service delivery in support of a 24/7 operating environment. The expected annual salary for this role is $46,000. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch drivers for airport shuttles, charters, and scheduled routes. Manage passenger reservations, booking requests, cancellations, and schedule changes. Create and adjust daily schedules based on passenger bookings, traffic conditions, and operational requirements. Monitor vehicle locations and route progress to ensure on-time performance. Communicate schedule changes, delays, and updates to drivers and customers in real time. Ensure reservation information is accurate and updated within internal systems. Qualifications & Skills Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage time-sensitive tasks. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Proficiency with dispatching systems, scheduling software, GPS tools, and basic computer applications. Customer-service oriented with a professional and positive attitude. Previous scheduling experience is considered a strong asset. Valid Class G driver's licence. (Must have) Valid passport. (Must have) Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 9+ years of clean driver's abstract meeting company insurance requirements. Education & Experience High school diploma required; post-secondary education in transportation, logistics, business administration, or a related field is an asset. Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, reservations, transportation coordination, customer service, or logistics preferred. Experience working in a customer-facing or fast-paced operational environment. Familiarity with the Niagara Region and surrounding areas considered an advantage. Working Conditions On-site position in a fast-paced dispatch office environment. 12-hour overnight shifts (5:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) on a four-days-on, four-days-off rotation. Weekends and holidays required as part of the rotation. Frequent communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams. Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and respond quickly to operational changes.
