The Animal Care Technician is responsible for daily animal husbandry, including diet preparation, health monitoring, and habitat maintenance. They also participate in behavioral enrichment programs and assist with veterinary procedures while ensuring compliance with AZA standards. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in an AZA-accredited facility and a bachelor's degree in Zoology or a related field. A valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license is required, along with the physical ability to perform demanding tasks in various outdoor conditions.
