Job Type: Casual Position Overview The region of Sioux Lookout in Northwestern Ontario is in need of Dentists to provide rotational coverage in the Remote Area Program that provides services to approximately 30 First Nations communities in the area. Calian is building a team of experienced and qualified Dentists who can give as little as two weeks (or more) per year to working in the region. Responsibilities Listening to patients’ medical histories and updating their records Doing routine exams and handling emergency procedures Giving local or general anesthesia when needed Qualifications Licensed as a Dentist with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario Experience working with First Nations or Inuit clients, or experience working in remote or rural locations Experience working in alternative practice settings, public health or community settings Valid CPR- Level BLS certification Additional Requirements You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level Compensation Based on skills and experience Vacancy We have 10 available positions AI Usage Disclosure At Calian, we do not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to screen or evaluate candidates.
