Responsabilités: Gérer et superviser les ressources de Calian lors de l’exécution des activités de marquage UID dans les installations du DND Effectuer des relevés de site afin d’éclairer les estimations de ressources pour les futures autorisations de tâches liées au marquage UID; Appliquer des étiquettes UID aux équipements situés dans les installations du DND/FAC partout au Canada conformément au Plan approuvé de marquage des articles UID et aux autorisations de tâches connexes; Appliquer des étiquettes UII au niveau des emballages sur les contenants applicables (y compris les contenants unitaires, intermédiaires et extérieurs); Se conformer aux spécifications techniques de marquage UID approuvées par le DND pour toutes les étiquettes UID appliquées; Prendre des photographies numériques des biens conformément aux directives, à l’aide de l’équipement fourni par le gouvernement; Vérifier physiquement chaque article à marquer en le comparant aux dossiers EMR du DND et à l’article lui-même, conformément aux directives reçues; Documenter et signaler toute divergence ou exception dans les avoirs en matériel par rapport aux dossiers EMR de DRMIS relevées lors des activités de marquage, conformément aux directives; Maintenir une communication quotidienne avec votre superviseur Calian via Microsoft Teams, signaler les enjeux et transmettre toute situation nécessitant une résolution de conflit avec le personnel du DND au superviseur Exigences physiques: Sans assistance mécanique ou autre, soulever verticalement un poids minimal de 25 kg jusqu’à une hauteur minimale de 90 cm; Sans assistance mécanique ou autre, transporter manuellement un poids minimal de 25 kg sur une surface plane sur une distance minimale de 3 mètres; Tolérer des périodes en position debout ou assise de plus d’une heure; Travailler dans des environnements intérieurs pouvant être soumis à un contrôle climatique limité; Utiliser des couteaux tranchants pour des travaux de précision; Être en mesure de lire et d’inscrire des textes de taille inférieure à 9 points à l’aide de loupes; Être capable d’alterner régulièrement entre la lecture d’un écran d’ordinateur et la consultation de données physiques. Qualifications Bilingue en français et en anglais; Posséder un minimum de 12 mois d’expérience en gestion et supervision d’employés; Posséder un minimum de 12 mois d’expérience dans au moins trois (3) des activités suivantes : Gestion des stocks dans un environnement d’entrepôt; Inventaires physiques et comptage de matériel; Exécution de prélèvements (picking) et de rangement (mise en stock) dans un environnement d’entrepôt; Emballage et réemballage de marchandises; Application d’étiquettes et de marquages sur des biens et des colis; Inspection visuelle générale des biens et équipements afin de détecter tout dommage, vérifier la durée de conservation et la conformité de la documentation; Utilisation d’appareils informatiques mobiles pour gérer les activités d’entrepôt; Avoir complété avec succès un diplôme d’études secondaires Exigences Supplémentaires: Les déplacements sont principalement locaux durant les heures normales de travail; toutefois, certains déplacements dans la région ainsi que des nuitées pourraient être requis Des équipements de protection individuelle seront fournis, incluant des bouchons d’oreilles, des masques de protection au besoin, des gants et des bottes à embout d’acier Doit détenir les certifications requises en matière de santé et sécurité (fournies par Calian aux employés contractuels), notamment : Travail en hauteur; Utilisation sécuritaire des échelles; SIMDUT (Système d’information sur les matières dangereuses utilisées au travail); Toute autre certification en santé et sécurité exigée par le DND Vous devrez être en mesure d’obtenir une cote de sécurité du gouvernement au niveau Secret Position Overview Calian is seeking a UID Labelling Lead to assist our client with the facilitation of their project. Responsibilities Manage and oversee Calian resources during the execution of UID Labelling activities at DND facilities; Conduct site surveys to inform resource estimates for future UID Labelling task authorizations; Apply UID Labels to equipment located at DND/CAF facilities across Canada in accordance with the approved UID Item Marking Plan and associated Task Authorizations; Apply package-level UII Package Labels to applicable packaging (including unit containers, intermediate containers, and exterior containers); Adhere to DND-approved UID Technical Marking Specifications for all UID Labels that are applied; Capture digital photographs of assets as directed with Government Furnished Equipment Physically verify each item to be marked against DND’s EMR records and the item as directed Document and report any discrepancies and exceptions in materiel holdings when compared to DRMIS EMR records identified during Marking activities as directed Be in daily communication with your Calian Supervisor on Microsoft Teams, reporting and issues and deferring and conflict resolution with DND staff to the supervisor. Physical Standards : Unassisted by mechanical or other means, vertically lift a minimum weight of 25 kg to a minimum height of 90 cm; Unassisted by mechanical or other means, manually carry a minimum weight of 25 kg over a level surface for a minimum distance of 3 meters; Endure periods of standing or sitting in excess of one hour; and Work in interior environmental conditions that may be subject to limited climate control. Use of sharp knives for precision work Ability to read and record text smaller than 9 font with the use of magnifying glasses Ability to switch between reading a computer screen and physical data regularly Qualifications Bilingual in both French and English Must have a minimum of 12 months of experience managing and supervising employees Must have a minimum of 12 months of experience performing at least three (3) of the following activities: Inventory management in a warehouse environment; Stocktaking and inventory counts of material; Performing goods picks and put-aways in a warehouse environment; Packaging and repackaging of goods; Application of labels and markings to goods and packages; Perform general visual inspection of goods and equipment for any damage, shelf life, proper documentation; or Utilizing mobile computing devices to manage warehouse activities Must have successfully completed a high school diploma Additional Requirements Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some of the area and overnight travel may be expected Will be provided protective equipment including earplugs, protective masks when required, gloves, steel toed boots Must be certified in the required Health and Safety guidelines (this is provided by Calian to Contract Employees) Working at heights Ladder operations WHMIS Additional H&S certifications as required by DND You will be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Secret level AI Usage Disclosure At Calian, we do not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to screen or evaluate candidates. Requirements

Applicants must be bilingual in French and English, have at least 12 months of employee management and supervision experience, and have at least 12 months of experience in three or more specified warehouse, inventory, labeling, packaging, inspection, or mobile-device activities. A high school diploma, ability to meet the stated physical standards, required health and safety certifications, and eligibility to obtain a Secret-level government security clearance are also required.
