Job summary

Inspect and diagnose heavy equipment faults using computerized and other testing equipment, then adjust, repair, or replace defective parts. Test repaired equipment, maintain service records, perform routine maintenance, repair heavy trucks, service attachments and working tools, and verify or repair emissions control systems.

Requirements

Requires at least five years of experience and an other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience. Applicants need a valid driver's licence and their own transportation, tools, and safety equipment; the work is physically demanding and requires accuracy, reliability, flexibility, and teamwork.
