About

Campbell River Hospice Society provides compassionate, trauma-informed care for individuals and families navigating grief, loss, and end-of-life journeys. For over 35 years, we’ve been a trusted community partner on Vancouver Island, offering free professional counselling, support groups, education, and volunteer-led bedside care. Our mission is to ensure no one walks through grief or faces end-of-life alone. With the support of our Hospice Thrift Shoppe, generous donors, and dedicated volunteers, we serve thousands of people each year—children, youth, and adults—helping them find comfort, connection, and hope. Together with our community, we are building a circle of compassion where care extends beyond clinical support to embrace the heart, mind, and spirit.
