Job details

We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with people, brings positive energy to the workplace, and genuinely cares about creating a welcoming experience for every guest. The right person for this role is warm, approachable, attentive, and comfortable starting conversations with guests. A great personality, positive attitude, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us. Previous serving experience is an asset, but it is not required. We are happy to train the right person. There is a lot to learn, including our menu, service standards, POS system, food and beverage knowledge, upselling, and daily restaurant procedures, so we are looking for someone who is motivated, engaged, and willing to put effort into learning the role. This is an ongoing position and is best suited for someone seeking consistent, longer-term employment rather than short-term or seasonal work. If you enjoy working with people, take pride in what you do, and want to be part of a supportive hospitality team, we would love to hear from you. Morning weekday availability is required. Shifts typically start between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM, Monday to Friday, and are generally 3–5 hours in length, depending on business levels and operational needs. Applicants must be available to work at least some weekday morning shifts between 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM, Monday to Friday. If you are not available to work at any time during this Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–11:00 AM window, please do not apply, as this availability is an essential requirement of the position. Additional availability may include weekends and holidays depending on scheduling needs. Responsibilities Greet, serve, and acknowledge guests in a friendly and polite manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items, beverages, and daily features. Provide menu recommendations and answer guest inquiries. Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner. Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional service. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of your section and service areas. Follow restaurant service standards and procedures. Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth operations. Handle guest concerns professionally and positively. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Positive, energetic, and professional attitude. Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with guests. Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to help others. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment. Reliable and punctual. Previous serving experience is considered an asset but is not required. Willingness and ability to learn restaurant procedures, menu knowledge, and service standards. Smart Choices certification (or willingness to obtain it promptly upon hire). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
