The role involves sorting and delivering mail and parcels to customers by foot or vehicle, as well as working in a sorting facility to process mail items. Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of items. Candidates must possess a valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a clean driving record for at least three years. Applicants must also be physically capable of lifting and carrying mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and be available for on-call shifts including evenings and weekends.
