The delivery agent is responsible for sorting and preparing mail at the depot and delivering items to customers by foot or vehicle. They must also unload incoming shipments and maintain a professional presence in the community. Candidates must possess a valid Class 5 or Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record for at least three years. Additionally, they must be physically capable of lifting and carrying mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg and be available for on-call work.
