JOB DESCRIPTION Branch Liaison, Shared Services Position Summary The Shared Services Communications Branch Liaison works with internal stakeholders to identify small and medium-sized branch communication needs and liaises with local and national teams to manage the completion of project work. The coordinator also plays an essential role in coordinating information and content from all branches for integration for Shared Service membership communications and marketing. Location 66 Slater Street, Suite 1200 Ottawa, ON Languages The CBA delivers services in both of Canada’s official languages. Fluent bilingual skills, both written and oral, are an asset. Annual Salary $34.96/hr Responsibilities Works with internal stakeholders to identify small and medium-sized branch communication and marketing needs. Meets regularly with branch staff and leadership. Documents branch requests and liaises with local and national office staff to establish scope and timelines and coordinate deliverables. Schedules and sends emails to members. Updates CBA Branch websites. Writes content and posts on social media channels. Regularly attends Shared Services meetings as required. Acquires and maintains a detailed knowledge of the organization’s policies, public-facing content and campaigns, principles, and strategies and stays current with relevant developments. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education A university degree or college diploma in business marketing, public relations, communications, or journalism Experience A minimum of 3 years experience in: Posting and maintaining social media channels Email management systems Website maintenance with a content management system HTML, CSS, JQUERY-Java script WCAG 2.1 level AA A web, digital or communications environment Skills and Abilities Has knowledge of: Adobe CC products Dreamweaver and Photoshop Microsoft Office Popular social media channels Excellent organizational skills and adherence to strict deadlines. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to self-initiate and manage multiple projects concurrently, while providing timely updates. Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and as a part of a team. Experience within a non-profit and/or member-based association is preferred.
