Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Office Assistant/Receptionist role based in Edmonton, AB. The Office Assistant/Receptionist will manage front desk operations, greet visitors, answer and route phone calls, and respond to general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner. Daily responsibilities include scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, organizing files and documentation, and supporting the administrative needs of the office and sales team. The role will also involve data entry, updating customer records, preparing basic reports, and handling incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. This position contributes to a welcoming showroom environment and ensures efficient office procedures to support a positive customer experience. Qualifications Strong reception and customer service skills, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and managing inquiries in a professional manner. Administrative skills such as scheduling, calendar management, filing, and organizing documents and office supplies. Proficiency with computer applications, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and basic data entry into CRM or office systems. Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and management. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment. Experience in an office, receptionist, or customer-facing role is an asset; familiarity with home improvement or construction industries is beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Edmonton, AB, including maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or coursework in office administration or customer service is an advantage.
