Interested applicants are encouraged to apply prior to this date to ensure full consideration. This role is a 0.80 FTE. The hourly rate for the position is $108.13 to $148.68. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees. Education, Training, And Experience Medical Degree (MD) with current (or eligible for) full registration and licensure to practice medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. A Master’s degree in health administration, business administration or clinical informatics or related discipline. Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years recent, related clinical leadership experience in the health care sector including experience with electronic clinical systems. Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Skills And Abilities Broad knowledge of clinical practice and the roles of multidisciplinary health care team members within a patient and family centered care model. Understanding and ability to apply latest research on best-evidenced practices related to clinical information systems. Comprehensive knowledge of current healthcare issues, trends, and government directives. Ability to lead and move forward complex organizational change related to clinical workflow and process redesign that supports the adoption of technology enabled solutions. Ability to advocate for and champion best-evidenced practice in the use of technology in the clinical environment. Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated knowledge of budget preparation and management of financial resources involving short-, immediate-, and long-term plans. Ability to unify, energize, and motivate people. Ability to promote and facilitate change. Ability to influence others at all levels within the organization and with external partners. Demonstrated ability and willingness to assume responsibility and accountability in a leadership role. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including the ability to make effective presentations to groups. Ability to function effectively in a highly dynamic environment. Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Requirements

Candidates need 10–15 years of recent related clinical leadership experience, including experience with electronic clinical systems, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
